* WHEN...From 2 AM to 9 AM EDT Friday.
* IMPACTS...Frost could harm sensitive outdoor vegetation. Sensitive outdoor plants may be killed if left uncovered.

A competitor in the calf roping event takes off out of the gate Thursday night during the World Championship Rodeo at the Mercer County Fair. Moderate weather during most of the fair boosted attendance, according to officials.
