Ruth Shadrach
Ruth E. Shadrach, 77, Celina, died Oct. 2, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born March 1, 1935, in Chattanooga, to Jesse E. and Barbara D. Daughtery Huston. She married Guy Shadrach, who died in 2009.
Surviving are a son, Robert (Stacie) Shadrach, Elgin; four daughters, Carolyn (Bill) Frederick, Celina, Marsha (Carey) Mathew, Convoy, Sondra (Ron) Nichols, Celina, and Julia (Dale) Barrett, Wapakoneta; 19 grandchildren; and 16 great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are six brothers, Jesse Edward, Paul, Glenn, Noah, Kenneth and Clayton Huston, and two sisters, Christina Griner and Rosemary Hawkey.
She graduated from Willshire High School in 1954 and retired from the former Huffy Bicycle plant of Celina after 32 years. She was a homemaker and belonged to the "Coffee Club" at Carl Wright's Truck Stop, Hardee's and the Empire Restaurant.
Funeral services are 1 p.m. Friday at W.H. Dick & Sons - Hellwarth Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Jeanette Tangeman officiating. Burial will follow in Duck Creek Cemetery, near Chattanooga.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Community Health Professionals of Celina.
