Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Nancy Templeton
Nancy Jean Templeton, 64, New Knoxville, died at 5 p.m. Dec. 14, 2012, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born March 15, 1948, in Dayton, to Wilfred "Bud" and Ruth Vance Nagel. Her mother survives in Dayton. On Jan. 3, 1995, she married John D. Templeton, who survives.
Also surviving are two daughters, Anita, of Miami, Fla., and Misty Longnecker, Huber Heights; a son, Bob Longstreth, Huber Heights; a step-daughter, Angel Lynn Ashbrook, Beavercreek; and a sister, Dolores (Don) Johnson, Dayton.
She was a homemaker.
Private services for the family will be held.
Burial will follow at Glen Haven Memorial Gardens, near New Carlisle.
Miller Funeral Homes, St. Marys, is handling arrangements.
