Bertha Seger
Bertha Elizabeth Anna Mueller Seger, 87, Yorkshire, died at 9:15 a.m. Dec. 26, 2012, at her home.
She was born Dec. 23, 1925, near Osgood, to Anton and Elizabeth Meyer Mueller. On Aug. 27, 1947, she married Frederick Seger, who is deceased.
Surviving are her six children, Diana (William) Walker, Huber Heights, David (Carol) Seger, Centerville, Donald (Judy) Seger, Bellbrook, Dennis (Debra) Seger, Tipp City, Deborah (Mark) Gehle, Yorkshire, and Lisa (Steven) McNeilan, Versailles; 21 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
Also deceased are nine siblings, Anna Marie Gehret, Rosa Amelia Grieshop, Albert Frank Mueller, Marie Clara Bills, Henry Joseph Mueller, Emma Rose Frances Kunk, Ellenor Rosa Pohlman, Helen Theresia Mueller, who died in infancy, and Veronica Elizabeth Mueller, who also died in infancy.
She was a homemaker and lifelong member at St. Nicholas Catholic Church, Osgood, where she was a choir member, rosary leader and member of the St. Barbara's Ladies Sodality.
She also was a member of the Osgood American Legion Ladies Auxiliary.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial will follow at the church cemetery.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Tuesday and 9-10 a.m. Wednesday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
Memorials may be given to a charity of the donor's choice.
