Jerry Yaney
Jerry Yaney, 69, St. Marys, died at 9:26 p.m. Dec. 26, 2012, at his home.
He was born May 12, 1943, in Celina, to Charles William Yaney and Marquerite Linton Heindel, who are deceased. On July 27, 1996, he married Valentina Kuzmyn, who survives.
Also surviving are his daughter, Denise (Daniel) Matus, Phoenix, Ariz., and a brother, Charles (Carolyn) Heindel, Garner, N.C.
Deceased are his stepfather, Harold Gene Heindel, his first wife, Brenda Gariety, an infant son, Joseph Charles Yaney, and a sister, Barbara Christener.
He graduated in 1962 from Celina High School. He was retired from Cooper Power Tooling, Dayton, and was a member of the Celina America Legion.
Funeral services are 3 p.m. Saturday at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina, the Rev. Josh Andrews officiating. Burial will follow at Elm Grove Cemetery, St. Marys.
Calling is 2-3 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to the Cancer Association of Auglaize County.
