Kevin Richards, 61, Hilliard, died Jan. 16, 2013.

Surviving are his loving wife of 17 years, Karla, and children, Hannah and Austin, all of Hilliard; sisters Josi Richard of Washington, and Jodie Heath of California; brother Daniel Heath of California; father-in-law and mother-in-law Ken and Elaine Romer of Fort Recovery; sister-in-law, Kathy (Scott) Simonson of Baltimore, Ohio; brother-in-law, Ted (Lisa) Romer of Fort Recovery; and nieces, nephews, loving extended family and a host of good friends.

Deceased are his parents.

He was previously employed by family-owned business Atlantic Heating and Cooling as an HVAC certified technician for more than 40 years. He was a member of St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church.  He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, listening to music, traveling, attending his children's sports functions and loved the ocean, especially in California. He was originally from San Diego. He was known for his dry humor and witty sarcasm, but overall he was a devoted husband and father who always put his family first.

Mass of Christian Burial is 11 a.m. Tuesday at St. Brendan the Navigator Catholic Church, Hilliard.

Calling is 4-8 p.m. Monday at the Tidd Funeral Home with Crematory, Hilliard.
