Riders appreciate sights, hospitality of Grand Lake region

Backroad sights, new friendships and fitness motivate 2,261 cyclists from around the world participating in the 2013 Great Ohio Bicycle Adventure.

ST. MARYS - A recent trip to Japan helped strengthen a longtime friendship and encourage further economic growth in St. Marys, according to local officials.

LAKEVIEW - A 75-year-old man drowned Wednesday on Indian Lake while experiencing boat engine problems.
James Lamar was pulled from the lake by rescue divers and taken to a Bellefontaine hospital where he was pronounced dead. No further information on the victim was released at press time today.
