Harness Racing at the Mercer County Fair

The family of Trent Bates leads Fixem, Trent's horse, down the straightaway toward the winner's circle with Trent's empty sulky before Sunday's harness racing action at the Mercer County Fair. The fair paid tribute to the Rockford trainer/driver, who passed away at the Fairgrounds on Aug. 2.
