An arctic cold front will move through the area this afternoon and evening, bringing snow showers and much colder air. While accumulations will generally be less than one half inch, quick bursts of snow will result in reductions in visibility and slick conditions at times. Some snow squalls are possible, which could lead to locally difficult travel conditions.

* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana and central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...From 1 AM Monday to 10 AM EST Wednesday.
* IMPACTS...The dangerously cold wind chills as low as 20 below zero could cause frostbite on exposed skin in as little as 30 minutes. Very cold temperatures can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

FORT RECOVERY - A 60-year-old man remains under treatment in the burn center at a Dayton hospital following a Sunday afternoon fire at his home.
Jack Timmerman, 304 N. First St., Fort Recovery, was taken by ambulance to Mercer County Community Hospital in Coldwater and later transferred by emergency medical helicopter to Miami Valley Hospital, Dayton. His condition remained unlisted this morning, according to a hospital spokeswoman. [More]
Roughriders Volleyball Invitational

ST. MARYS - After starting out the season with five straight losses, St. Marys' volleyball team was looking for a spark when they hosted their annual Roughriders Invitational on Saturday.
The Roughriders advanced to the finals after winning their two pool matches and then took part in a three-set battle against Pandora-Gilboa. St. Marys had to settle for second place after a 25-19, 22-25 and 25-23 loss to the Rockets. [More]
