Daniel Pool
Daniel Wayne Pool, 51, Celina, died Jan. 3, 2014, at his residence.
He was born April 7, 1962, in Long Beach, Calif., to Gene Pool and Beverly Cantwil Pool Ahrens.
Survivors include three brothers, Gene (Vickie) Pool, Van Wert, Steve Pool, Fostoria, and Tim Ahrens, Celina, and aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Michael Pool.
He spent his life working with his hands. He was a devoted friend who never hesitated to help someone in need. Believing in the value of a life lived simply, he understood that his treasures were to be stored in heaven, and his greatest possessions were found in those whom he loved.
He spent the last 15 years employed by Cooper Farms in St. Henry and enjoyed motivating those around him. He was known for his sincere care, his shy smile, and his quest to understand the deeper meaning of the life he lived.
A memorial service will be 3 p.m. Saturday at First Friends Church, Van Wert, the Rev. Paul Hamrick officiating.
