CELINA - Snow storm Nika smacked the local area with about 7.5 inches of blowing snow overnight, creating hazardous roadways throughout the Grand Lake area.

CELINA - Mercer County received a second round of state funds to demolish blighted homes.
Attorney General Mike De-Wine announced Tuesday that more than $3.8 million in Moving Ohio Forward grants were to be awarded to 87 counties in phase two of the program.
CELINA - The anticipated matchup between Celina and Crestview proved to live up to expectations.  
The Bulldogs trailed by as much as 13 in the third quarter before rallying to cut it to two late, but the Knights held tough for the 62-60 win Tuesday night at the Fieldhouse.
CELINA - A night after a hard-fought league win, Celina took on state-ranked Crestview, a team that had just one loss coming in.
The Bulldogs stayed with the Knights throughout the game, with Crestview pulling away at the very end for a 44-34 win at the Fieldhouse on a snowy Tuesday night.
