Doris McConnell
Doris Ann McConnell, 81, Coldwater, and formerly of Moulton, died at 4:34 p.m. Feb. 15, 2014, in Coldwater.
She was born Oct. 26, 1932, in Moulton, the daughter of Harold and Grace (Line) Hobler. On Oct. 20, 1956, she married Joseph Robert McConnell at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moulton, and he died Aug. 1, 2000.
Surviving are three children, Dawn McVety, St. Marys, Pamela (Mark) Mosier, Moulton, and Britt (Kim) McConnell, Coldwater; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; a brother, Ned (Dottie) Hobler, Moulton; and a brother-in-law, Marvin McConnell, St. Marys.
She was a graduate of Blume High School in Wapakoneta. She was a homemaker and enjoyed playing the piano. She had played in a dance band and was the church organist at Trinity Lutheran Church in Moulton, where she was a lifelong member.
Private family funeral rites are 7 p.m. Thursday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys. Burial is at New Salem Cemetery.
