A deluge of treasure seekers, both local and out-of-state, made the annual pilgrimage to U.S. 127 this week for the World's Longest Yard Sale, scouring through boxes, shelves and stands for valuable finds.
  This Mecca of miscellanies spans 690 miles from Gadsden, Ala., to Addison, Mich. It was initiated in 1987 in Jamestown, Tenn., to promote businesses along the lesser-traveled roadway. [More]

The Swon Brothers get crowd on their feet with hit single
CELINA - A traffic jam outside of the Mercer County Fairgrounds delayed the scheduled Rodney Atkins and The Swon Brothers concert for a half hour Friday night, but once the show started, the acts proved they were worth the wait.
Friday accident occurred at Howick, Celina-Mendon roads
CELINA - Two people were transported by Life Flight to Miami Valley Hospital following an automobile accident on Friday morning.
Their conditions were not released as of press time.
CELINA - A man found not breathing in his car at the Mercer County Fair on Friday afternoon was revived after being administered Narcan, an overdose reversal drug.

The Fox's Den played host to the Celina Girls Golf Invitational on Friday, bringing in 15 schools to compete.
Versailles won the team title with a stellar round of 385, three strokes better than runner-up Fort Loramie. Van Buren brought home third place.
