Businesses, smokers adjust to ban, health effects hazy

The smoke has cleared inside area businesses and, in some cases, so have the people.
In 2006, Ohio became the 12th state to ban smoking at work and in public venues. Some of the changes occurring in the last six years are visible, such as an increase in outdoor seating at bars and restaurants. [More]

Woman's hobby brightens lives of family, friends
ROCKFORD - Jane Suzuki has transformed colorful fabrics into intricate designs for more than four decades.

Brody Hoying started the 2014 season much like he ended the 2013 season with a dominant game as the defending Division V state champions defeated Kenton 24-2 at Robinson Field in Hardin County in the annual opening game between the two teams.
FORT LORAMIE - Last year, in the first game for new Minster Wildcats' coach Geron Stokes, the Fort Loramie Redskins scored a touchdown in the final minute of the game to defeat the Wildcats, 21-18.
