Midwest Athletic Conference Boys Golf Tournament

CARTHAGENA - Minster entered Saturday's Midwest Athletic Conference boys' golf tournament at the Mercer County Elks, seeking for a ninth overall title in 10 years.
At the midway point of the 18-hole tournanament, Minster and Versailles were neck-and-neck in the standings, but at the end of the day, the Wildcats won the tournament with a score of 327. The tournament win allowed the Wildcats, who went 9-0 in conference matches, to win the overall team title. [More]
Midwest Athletic Conference Girls Golf Tournament

VERSAILLES - The hosts had the most at Saturday's Midwest Athletic Conference Girls Golf Tournament.
The Versailles Tigers, who had an unbeaten regular season in conference match play, ran away with the team title, finishing with a round of 369 on their home turf at the Stillwater Valley Golf Club. The Tigers claim the conference title for the third straight season. [More]

ST. MARYS - Auglaize County Sheriff's deputies are investigating the death of a 29-year-old man found deceased Friday afternoon at an area home.
No foul play is suspected but an investigation is ongoing to discover the cause of death, according to a press release.
