SHELBY COUNTY - A Minster High School senior was struck and killed early Saturday morning while walking along Schmitmeyer-Baker Road, east of Minster.
Austin J. Brackman, 18, was pronounced dead at the scene of the accident in McClean Township at 3 a.m., according to a press release from the Shelby County Sheriff's Office. [More]

NEW BREMEN - A 19-year-old man was killed Saturday night and a friend injured in a single-vehicle crash on Plattner Pike, north of the village.
Shelby Fear of New Bremen - the father of two young children - was pronounced dead at the scene by the Auglaize County Coroner's Office. The accident took place at 10:19 p.m., south of Southland Road. [More]

PIQUA - The feeling never gets old for the Coldwater football team.
The Cavaliers secured their spot in the state championship game by beating Cincinnati Hills Christian Academy 34-3 in the Division V state semifinals at Alexander Stadium/Purk Field in Piqua Saturday night.
ST. MARYS - Fort Recovery outscored St. Marys 13-2 in the fourth quarter to break open a close game and post a 43-31 victory Saturday night on the Roughrider hardwood.
