* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

James Hayes
James D. Hayes, 82, Van Wert, died at 4:38 p.m. Jan. 10, 2016, at Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
He was born Aug. 16, 1933, in Mercer County to the late C. "Meredith" and Reba Miller Hayes. He was married to Alice J. Driver, who survives in Van Wert.
Also surviving are four children, Melinda Hayes, Tucson, Ariz., Mitchell D. Hayes, Celina, Eric D. (Janeen) Hayes, Beaverdam, Wis., and Beth A. (Donald) Rieger, Stow; six grandchildren, Dylan (Alicia) Hayes, Colt (Amy) Hayes, Joel Farmer, Leo Rieger and Eleanor Rieger; and three great-grandchildren, Isabella, Hudson and Rediker Hayes.
Deceased are a daughter, Deborah Hayes, and a sister, Janice Bishop.
He graduated from Neptune High School and was a member of the Van Wert Elks. He retired in 1990 after 30 years of service at Phillips of Fort Wayne, Ind., where he worked as a design engineer. He also was a farmer for most of his life.
He was a member of Calvary Evangelical Church, Van Wert.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home, Van Wert, the Rev. Clark Williman officiating. Burial will follow at Woodland Cemetery, Van Wert.
Calling is 4-7 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
Memorials may be given to Van Wert Inpatient Hospice Center.
