Daniel Preston
Daniel "Dan" Joseph Preston, age 76, of Rockwell, NC passed away on July 22, 2016 at Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte, NC.
He was born on December 23, 1939 in Celina, Ohio to the late William Harry Preston and Verna Now.
He is survived by his wife who was his high school sweetheart, Rosalie Smalley, married July 1961, his 2 children, Daniel Joseph Preston Jr and Jennifer Preston Furr, his 6 year old grandson Preston Furr, all in Rockwell, NC and his sister Barbara Reder of Celina.
Dan was preceded in death by his step father Ed Glass.
He graduated from Celina High School in 1957. He retired as Property Manager at Yorktown Apartments in Charlotte and moved to Bokeelia, Fla for 7 years, then moved to Rockwell, NC where he managed his son's mini storage part time until Sept 2015.
Funeral services will be held at North Grove Cemetery in Celina, Ohio on August 13th, at 10:00 am, with Rev. Jeff Gramza officiating.
