* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Walter Bertke
Walter R. Bertke, 74, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on November 12, 2016, at Celina Manor, Celina, Ohio.
He was born June 1, 1942, in Fort Recovery, to Walter J. and Leona (Miller) Bertke. His father is deceased; his mother survives in Fort Recovery.
Also surviving are his siblings, Gerald Bertke of Fort Recovery, Louis (Kathy) Bertke of Tremont, IL, Judith Homan of Fort Recovery and Mel (Karen) Bertke of Fort Recovery; and a brother-in-law, Jim Maier of Celina.
Preceding him in death are his brother and sister-in-law, LeRoy (Georgia) Bertke; a sister, Shirley Maier; a sister-in-law, Pat Bertke; and a brother-in-law, Ernest Homan.
He was a 1960 graduate of Fort Recovery High School, served in the Illinois National Guard and retired from K-Mart, Pekin, IL. After relocating back to Ohio, Walter attended Mary Help of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery.
He enjoyed collecting coins, antique cars and furniture. He also played drums in a country western band in his earlier years. However, most recently, he enjoyed spending time with his family.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday, November 19, 2016 at Brockman-Boeckman Funeral Home, Fort Recovery, Fr. Matthew Feist officiating. Interment will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, St. Joe, Ohio.
Calling is 8:30 a.m.-till services at the funeral home.
