Ione Glasgow
Ione Glasgow age 96, Portland passed away Monday morning in Miller House in Celina, Ohio.
She was born in Ridgeville August 17, 1920 the daughter of Willard and Dortha (Mosier) Barrett. She was married August 2, 1941 to Paul Glasgow and he died October 8, 1996.
She had worked for Sears for thirty-two years. She was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church, Primetime, Eastern Star, Wesleyan Circle and Widow to Widow.
Surviving are a son Steve Glasgow (wife Marsha) of Celina, Ohio, one sister Betty Hathaway Boroff of Celina, Two grandchildren Julie Glasgow of Centerville and Matthew (wife Anna) Glasgow of Aurora, IL. and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Friday at 1:30 PM in the Baird-Freeman Funeral Home with Pastor Jill Howard presiding. Burial will follow in the Lawndale Cemetery in Ridgeville.
Viewing will be one hour prior to the funeral services.
Memorials can be made to the Jay County Cancer Society.
