* WHAT...Snow. Additional snow accumulations up to one inch. Snow melt and refreezing overnight has resulted in the development of black ice on roads.
* WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST this morning.
* IMPACTS...Plan on slippery road conditions. Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning commute.

Snow showers to continue this morning. Slick spots on area roads will be possible this morning with temperatures below freezing. Motorists can expect rapid changes in visibility when encountering some of the heavier snow showers. Northwest winds gusting up to 30 mph will add to the travel impacts due to blowing and drifting snow.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Linda Westgerdes
Linda Louise Westgerdes, age 64, of Sidney, passed away on Saturday, January 14, 2017 at Hospice of Miami County Hospice Inpatient Unit in Troy.
She was born on March 2, 1952 in Dayton to the late Bernard and Irene (Cutter) O'Reilly. Linda was lovingly raised by the late Irenus and Catherine Barhorst. On February 17, 1973, she married Mark Westgerdes and he survives.
Linda is also survived by six children: Alex Westgerdes of Sidney, Amy (Tom) Wooten of St. Paris, Angela (Philip) Longmire of Sidney, Aaron (Kira) Westgerdes of Russia, Amanda (Jordan) Richardson of Sidney and Andrea (Lee) Homan of Piqua; grandchildren: Tyler, Logan and Kyle Wooten, Riley and Lucas Longmire, Lauren Westgerdes, Kaelyn, Dominic and Dexter Richardson and Gretchen Homan; three siblings: Carl (Ellie) Barhorst of Dayton, David (Judy) Barhorst of Clayton and Dale (Linda) O'Reilly of Minster; Mother-In-Law: Ruth Westgerdes of Ft. Recovery; one sister-in-law: Ann Barhorst of Ft. Loramie; and a good friend: Donna Schmidt of Piqua.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother: Nick Barhorst.
Linda was employed at Norcold in Sidney for 20 years. She was a 1970 graduate of Ft. Loramie High School. She was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney.
Linda considered any time she could spend with her grandchildren as precious. She loved to travel and take pictures. Linda was always interested in architecture by Frank Lloyd Wright.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Thursday, January 19, 2017 at Holy Angels Catholic Church in Sidney with Rev. Fr. James O'Riehle as celebrant.
Friends may call from 4:00-8:00 PM on Wednesday at Adams Funeral Home, 1401 Fair Road, Sidney, OH 45365.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Hospice of Miami County, P.O. Box 502, Troy, OH 45373.
