Raymond Prenger
Raymond C. Prenger age 93 of Minster, Ohio died on January 14, 2017 at Elmwood of New Bremen.
He was born on April 21, 1923 in Minster, Ohio to the late Anton & Bernadine (Berning) Prenger. He married Romilda C. Poeppelman on October 16, 1946 in Osgood, Ohio. She preceded him in death on January 26, 2004.
He is survived by children: Nancy Roetgerman, New Bremen, Donna & Larry DeLoye, Fort Loramie, Julie Prenger Kirkwood, Lebanon, Jean & Robert Freeman, Bedford, TX Gary & Karen Prenger, Dublin, 16 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by an infant son Marvin and son-in-law Robert Roetgerman, brother Leo & Leona Prenger.
He was a member of St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster, the Ohio Farm Bureau and the Minster K of C. Ray was a lifelong farmer and loved bowling and doing puzzles.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 AM on Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at St. Augustine Catholic Church, Minster with Rev. Rick Nieberding celebrant. Burial will follow in St. Augustine Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 17, and from 9:00 AM to 9:30 AM on Wednesday, January 18.
In Lieu of flowers donations may be made to Elmwood Activity Fund.
