Irma C. Wuebker, 89, Fort Recovery, Ohio, died on February 5, 2017, at Celina Manor, Celina, Ohio.
She was born June 29, 1927, in Mercer County, to the late Frederick and Anna (Huelskamp) Roessner. On April 24, 1948, at St. Peter, Ohio, she married Ralph Wuebker, who died April 27, 2015.
Surviving are her children, Fred (Ruth) Wuebker, Jean (Shorty) Dues, Becky (Ron) Jutte, Clara (Ron) Brunswick and Randy (Nancy) Wuebker, all of Fort Recovery, OH; her 18 grandchildren and 53 great-grandchildren; her sisters-in-law, Anna Lee (Jack) Kunkel of Lebanon, OH, Peg Bergman of Fort Recovery, OH and Verla Roessner of Fort Recovery, OH; and her in-laws, Frieda (Ernie) Hartings of Coldwater, OH.
Irma was the last surviving member of her immediate family. Preceding her in death are her step mother, Clarice (Shanks) Roessner; her children, Sharon Wuebker, Ricky Wuebker, Ralph Wuebker Jr. and Sandy Miller; a son-in-law, Ernie Miller; her brothers, Alvin, Harold, Norbert, Linus, Tony, Chuck and Joseph Roessner; her sisters, Joan Roessner, Esther Roessner and Helen Heitkamp and her step brother, Paul Wehrle.
After graduating in 1945 from Fort Recovery High School she worked at the former Fort Recovery Equity Dairy. She was a member of Mary Help Of Christians Catholic Church, Fort Recovery and the church's Altar Rosary Sodality.
Irma was a gentle, faith-filled woman with a heart of gold. She had the ability to befriend anyone she met and holds a special place in countless hearts. Irma spent the greater part of her life ensuring that those around her were healthy and happy.
She enjoyed spending her time outdoors on their farm, caring for the animals and conversing with family and friends on the front porch. She and her husband, Ralph, especially enjoyed ballroom dancing at the various dance halls in the area.
Her past times included baking, playing cards and attending her grandchildren's and great grandchildren's school and sporting events. The countless, delicious meals she prepared for her family will never be forgotten. May she be welcomed to her heavenly home by all the family who have gone before her.
