At 513 PM EDT, strong thunderstorms were located along a line extending from near Wapakoneta to Bradford, moving east at 30 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph, pea size hail, frequent cloud-to-ground lightning, and very heavy rain.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Hail may cause minor damage to vegetation. Lightning can cause serious injury or death. Visibility will be poor and hydroplaning is possible.
Locations impacted include... Sidney, Piqua, Greenville, St. Marys, New Bremen, Minster, Versailles, Newport, Bradford, Anna, Fort Loramie, Jackson Center, Botkins, Lakeview, New Knoxville, Chippewa Park, Hardin, Webster, Quincy, and Russia.
This includes I-75 in Ohio between mile markers 83 and 105.
If outdoors, consider seeking shelter inside a sturdy building.
Motorists should slow down and use extra caution.

Ronald Freeland
Ronald C. Freeland, age 79, of Celina, Ohio, passed away on January 18, 2018, at 1:30 am, in CHP Inpatient Hospice Center, Van Wert, Ohio.
He was born March 16, 1938 in Elizabeth, West Virginia to the late Floyd and Blanche (Bain) Freeland. On February 16, 1962 he married the love of his life, Marilyn (Petrie) Freeland, and she survives at the residence in Celina.
Other survivors include a daughter, Tammy (Jeff) Pontsler, Rockford, Ohio; three brothers, Roger (Judy) Freeland, Mendon, Ohio, Larry Long, Clermont, Georgia, and John Long, Kentucky; three sisters, Sue DeVall, Celina, Ohio, Jean (Dick) Courtney, Rockford, Ohio, and Wanda Freeland, Celina, Ohio; a daughter-in-law, Lynne Freeland, Van Wert, Ohio; grandchildren, Scott and Stephen Pontsler, and Alexa and Katlyn Freeland; and great grandchildren, Greyson, Gavin, and Paxton Pontsler.
He is also preceded in death by a son, Anthony Freeland; and a sister, Janet Schaffer.
Ron was a 1956 graduate of Tunnelton High in West Virginia. He served his country in the United States Army. He worked at New Idea in Coldwater for many years and retired from Teleflex in Van Wert after 18 years of service.
He was an active member of Bethany United Methodist Church in Celina. Ron was a down to earth and very well liked man. He enjoyed playing dartball, golfing, and most of all spending time with his family and friends.
Visitation hours will be from 2:00 pm-6:00 pm on Sunday, January 21, 2018 at Cisco Funeral Home, Celina.
Funeral services will begin at 10:30 am on Monday morning at Bethany United Methodist Church with Rev. Jon Exman officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church. Burial will follow at Swamp College Cemetery, Celina, with military honors by Celina VFW Post #5713 and Celina American Legion Post #210.
