The Ohio Environmental Protection Agency has issued an Air Quality Advisory for the entire state of Ohio, from 7 AM Thursday to midnight EDT Thursday night. Smoke from Canadian wildfires will adversely impact air quality. The Agency expects the Air Quality Index to be in the 'unhealthy for sensitive groups' range. County health officials have battled over eyesore site for years
JEFFERSON TOWNSHIP - A major Mercer County eyesore is nearly cleaned up.
The roughly 5-acre site of Dumpsterman Container on Staeger Road is being cleaned to bare ground, and noticeable progress had already been made on Friday toward clearing away piles of trash.
