* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.
* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - A lull in rainfall will continue for much of the day. However, additional storms will move into the area later this afternoon. The risk of heavy rainfall will be greatest tonight into early Friday morning. There is also the potential for storms to repeatedly move over the same locations, which increases flash flood risk.

Kenneth Ankerman
Kenneth C. Ankerman, 81, of rural St. Marys, OH died 10:25 a.m. Sunday October 9, 2022 at JTDM Hospital in St. Marys.
He was born January 27, 1941 in Noble Twp. in Auglaize Co., OH to Carl and Frieda (Hirschfeld) Ankerman. He was first married to Constance A. Ridgway, who died October 16, 1991. He later married Suzanne Slemmons-Moran, who survives.
Also survived by: son John (Donna) Ankerman of St. Marys, OH; daughter Jennifer Moyar of St. Marys, OH; son Kyle (Paula) Ankerman of St. Marys, OH; step-son Chris (Karen) Moran of Celina, OH; step-son Kip (Nolina) Moran of Cumming, GA; 12 grandchildren: Dylan Smith, Jaret Ankerman, Colton Ankerman, Lillian Ankerman, Amelia Ankerman, Allison Ankerman, Josh Moran, Blake (Megan) Moran, Aniston Moran, Liam Moran, Merek Moran, Kellen Moran; sister Marjorie (Harold) Fueser of Naples, FL; sister Connie (Anthony "Mark") Torsell of St. Marys, OH; sister-in-law Diane Ridgway of Alvin, TX; sister-in-law Sandi (Bob) Deerhake of New Knoxville, OH; sister-in-law Chris (Dennis) Krauss of San Antonio, TX; brother-in-law Richard Murray of Celina, OH.
Preceded in death by: parents Carl and Frieda Ankerman; first wife Constance Ankerman; brother Donald Ankerman; sister Patsy Murray; son-in-law Rick Moyar; sister-in-law Jeanie Webster; sister-in-law Patti (Bob) Adams.
He was a graduate of St. Marys Memorial High School (Class of 1959). A life-long farmer, he served as a board member for various agriculture organizations, including Spencerville Young Farmers and the Federal Land Bank. He was a member of Zion Lutheran Church, Eagles Lodge Aerie # 767 and American Legion Post #323, all in St. Marys. In his younger days, he had enjoyed playing softball for the Moulton Merchants team. An avid bowler, he participated in the men's league at Varsity Lanes, where he was a member of the South Wayne Street Barber Shop team for more than fifty years.
Rites are scheduled to begin at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday October 15, 2022 at the Zion Lutheran Church 210 N. Wayne Street in St. Marys. Burial will follow at the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Marys. The Rev. Bill Maki will officiate the services.
Visitation 3 - 7 p.m. on Friday at the Miller Funeral Home 1605 Celina Road (Ohio 703 West) in St. Marys and one hour prior to the services on Saturday at the church.
Memorial contributions in his honor may be directed to Zion Lutheran Church, Cancer Association of Auglaize Co., or Grand Lake Hospice.
