Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the Tri-State region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Frank Bonifas
Frank Bonifas, age 68, of Coldwater, died on July 7, 2023 at Celina Manor.
He was born on February 13, 1954 in Coldwater to the late James & Mary Rita (Hausfeld) Bonifas.
He is survived by a sister Teresa & Jim Gardner of Cincinnati, nieces, Emily, Erin, and Eleanor, and numerous relatives and close friends.
Frank was a member of Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. He was a 1972 graduate of Coldwater High School and in 1973, in New York, he was diagnosed with Tourette's which led him to author his book titled "F-F-F-Frank". Frank was the organist at Holy Trinity Church for many years and also worked for Jutte's IGA, the Peoples Bank, and New Idea.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, July 12, 2023 at Holy Trinity Catholic Church in Coldwater. Burial will follow in St. Elizabeth Cemetery, Coldwater.
Friends may call from 9 to 10 am on Wednesday at the Hogenkamp Funeral Home in Coldwater.
