Ruth Gray
Ruth Marie Gray, age 97, passed away peacefully at Trustwell Living at Miller Place on September 27, 2023.
She was born on April 5, 1926, to the late Walter & Florence (Ickes) Spicer. On April 7, 1946, she married Lewis A. Gray and he preceded her in death on August 11, 2011.
Survivors include two daughters, Connie (Ron Hammons) Gray and Sharon (Rick) McGowan, both of Celina.
Ruth was a 1944 graduate of Center Township Local High School, Neptune, Ohio. She was a homemaker and helped Lewis on the family farm. She also worked at Goldstein Department Stores and JC Penney's, both in Celina. She enjoyed gardening, reading, crocheting, sewing and most of all spending time with family and friends.
Funeral services will begin at 3:30 on Saturday, September 30, 2023, at Cisco Funeral Home in Celina, with Rev. Matt Overman officiating.
The family will receive friends from 1:30 pm - 3:30 pm prior to the start of the funeral service at the funeral home. Burial will follow at North Grove Cemetery in Celina.
