* WHEN...From noon EDT today through Sunday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.

Daniel Anderson
Daniel "Dan" R. Anderson, 79, passed away February 19, 2024, at 7:58 a.m. at Kettering Health Dayton, surrounded by his loving family.
Dan was born June 23, 1944, in Lima, Ohio, to Raymond and Beatrice (Swank) Anderson who both preceded him in death. On July 30, 1966 he married Carolyn (Edgington) Anderson who survives in St. Henry, Ohio.
Dan graduated from Bath High School in 1962. He worked as a computer programmer at NEW IDEA Farm Equipment. He then became a car salesman and worked in the industry for over 30 years. In his retirement years he worked at St. Henry Hardware. He loved to make people smile and never knew a stranger. Dan always enjoyed doing various home remodeling and loved being outside working in his yard. He found peace in going on vacation with his family to Lake Cumberland. Dan cherished his family dearly and loved his children and grandchildren.
Survivors include: wife, Carolyn Anderson of St. Henry, Ohio; son, Jason (Daphne) Anderson of Prairieville, La.; daughter, Jennifer "Jen" Morris of Dayton, Ohio; grandchildren, Jacob Anderson of Cridersville, Ohio; Sierra King of Atlanta, Ga.; Alexis Guise of Prairieville, La.; Emma Morris of Dayton, Ohio; and numerous nieces, nephews and beloved friends.
He is preceded in death by his siblings Barbara Anderson, Miriam (Chauncey) Basinger, David (Kaye) Anderson and niece, Joy Hall.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, February 24, 2024 at 12:00 p.m. at Chiles-Laman Funeral Homes, Shawnee Chapel. Rev. Tim Benjamin to officiate the service. Burial will be in Cairo East Cemetery following the service.
Visitation will be on Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 10 a.m. until the time of the service at the Shawnee Chapel.
