Dixie M. Russell, 58, of Saint Marys, Ohio, died 9:20 A.M. Wednesday, September 9, 2026, at her residence.

She was born March 7, 1968, in Portland, Indiana, the daughter of Thomas and Dorothy (Sutter) Reichard. She married William Russell on November 22, 1986, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, and he survives in Saint Marys.

She is also survived by her step-father, Bill Lininger of Saint Marys; by her children: Samuel Russell of Saint Marys; Zachary (Brittney) Russell of Saint Marys; Jessica (Drew) Skaggs of Saint Marys. She is survived by her sisters: Michelle (Rob) Huebner of Wapakoneta; Kara (Cody) Sharp of Saint Marys; by her sisters-in-law, Veronica (Richard) Block of New Bremen; Amanda (Todd) Shroyer of New Knoxville; Kim (Jeff) Valente of Cuyahoga Falls; by her brother-in-law, John (Carla) Russell of Montezuma.

She is survived by her grandchildren: Gabriel Ball; Olivia Russell; Andralynn Storer; Pyper Storer; Connor Russell; Landyn Storer; Corbin Russell; Warren Russell; Issac Skaggs; William Skaggs; Julius Skaggs and by her great-granddaughter, Scarlett Amborski.

She was preceded in death by her father, Thomas Reichard; her mother, Dorothy (Sutter) Lininger; by Bill's parents, Harvey and Cherl Russell.

Dixie was a graduate of Saint Marys Memorial High School and the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She had worked at Crown Equipment Corporation. She was a Stephen Minister at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, where she was a lifelong member. She loved being with her family and friends.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 15, 2026, at Holy Rosary Catholic Church in Saint Marys, Father Rob Muhlenkamp, celebrant, and Father Prashanth and Father Barry Stechschulte, con-celebrants. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Catholic Cemetery.

Friends may call from 2-4 and 5-7 P.M. Monday at the Miller Funeral Home, 1605 Celina Road, Saint Marys, where memorial gifts may be given to Unbound Ministries in care of Holy Rosary Catholic Church.
