On a warm Saturday afternoon on March 7th 2009, some 50 participants took a plunge into Grand Lake for the Ohio Special Olympics. Each participant was required to raise $75 for the honor of jumping into the lake where pieces of ice still accumulated. The event, which was held at the Celina Moose Lodge, was the western Ohio plunge site, with seven other locations across the state.
