A time trial bicycle race was held Sunday morning around Grand Lake. Contestants started sixty seconds apart on Lake Shore Drive in Celina and raced clockwise around the lake. Parts of Lake Shore Drive, East Market Street, and US 127 in Celina were closed to vehicle traffic to accommodate the riders. Racers typically completed the 24 mile circuit in an hour to an hour and a half. The race was part of the Colavita Cycling Club's time trial series.
