* WHAT...Southwest winds 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 50 mph. * WHERE...Portions of east central and southeast Indiana, northeast and northern Kentucky, and central, south central, southwest, and west central Ohio. * WHEN...Until noon EDT today. * IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Gusts of 30 to 40 mph will be common, but the highest gusts near 50 mph will be sporadic. A public meeting will be held on whether the EPA should allow an increase in elevation of the Celina Sanitary Landfill in rural Franklin Township.
The Mercer County Solid Waste Policy Committee approved a resolution that will allow Allied Waste Co. - which runs the Celina Sanitary Landfill - to hold the mandated meeting instead of the Ohio EPA.
