Jack King

Jack E. King, 82, of Ohio City, died at 8:15 a.m. Sept. 9, 2006, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.

He was born March 30, 1924, in Terre Haute, Ind., to Dewey and Eva E. McDaniel King. On Dec. 14, 1945, he married Dorothy L. Follmer, who survives.

Also surviving are a daughter, Linda (Terrill) Snyder, Rockford; and a sister, Bette (Russell) Cox, Corydon, Ind.

Deceased is a brother, Billy.

He worked as a supervisor in several machine shops. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was formerly a member of the American Legion Post 346, Ohio City.

There is no calling or service.
