Leon Rupert
Leon R. Rupert, 65, 310 S. Main St., Mendon, died at 3:30 a.m. Sept. 10, 2006, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 17, 1940, in St. Marys, to Leroy and Golda Mihm Rupert.
Survivors are two sons, Leroy (Michelle), Mendon, and Roger (April), Ansonia; a daughter, Angie (Lester) Gause, Decatur, Ind.; a stepdaughter, Charlene (John), St. Marys; two brothers, William (Barb), Xenia, and Michael (Irene), Miles, Mass.; two sisters, Virginia Carter, Celina, and Janet Seibert, St. Marys; two half brothers, Doug (Martha), New Knoxville, and Jack (Nancy), Galveston, Texas; a half sister, Debra (Dean) Kyle, Phoenix, Ariz.; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Deceased are a grandchild and three great-grandchildren.
He was employed for many years at the St. Marys Foundry Co.
Services are 5 p.m. Tuesday at Miller Funeral Home, St. Marys.
Calling is after 1 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
