* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.
* WHEN...Through Friday morning.
* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

James Buxton
Mercer County native James Ross "Jim" Buxton, 84, died Dec. 27, 2006, in Tucson, Ariz.
He was born Oct. 10, 1922, in Mercer County, to Carl and Myrtle Buxton. On Dec. 28, 1943, he married Frieda Bollenbacher, who survives in Tucson.
Also surviving are a son, Bradley (Jill), Tucson; three daughters, Carol (Bill) Thomas, Show Low, Ariz., Rikki (Ron) Doyle, Tucson, and Kandice (Doug) Paffel, Stanley, Wisc.; six grandchildren and six-great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Glenn.
He was a veteran of World War II and a member of American Legion Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 549, Tucson, and Disabled American Veterans 2.
Services were Jan. 2, 2007, in Tucson. Burial was at South Lawn Cemetery, Tucson.
Arrangements were by Dignity Memorial, Tucson.
