* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Ruth Stueve
Former New Bremen resident Ruth E. Stueve, 86, died at 1:26 p.m. Jan. 7, 2007, at Riverside Methodist Hospital, Columbus.
She was born Aug. 29, 1920, in Beloit, Wisc., to Edwin and Mildred Love Borton. On Dec. 28, 1946, she married Roman Stueve, who died June 14, 1991.
Survivors are four daughters, Janet (Dennis) Forrest, Columbus, Carol (Ken) Weaver, Lorain, Amy (Robert) Maurer, Germantown, Md., and Ann (Ted) Wente, Lambertville, Mich.; a sister, Barbara (Edward) Biga, Signal Mountain, Tenn.; 11 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Edward Borton.
She was the resident greeter of The Gardens Retirement Community of Columbus. A graduate of the Cook County Hospital School of Nursing, Chicago, Ill., she was a registered nurse serving as school nurse at New Bremen Local Schools. She was a member of the former PTA of New Bremen and had served as president of the organization, and was a member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, New Bremen, and Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, Columbus.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Friday at the New Bremen church, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial will follow at St. Augustine Cemetery, Minster.
Calling is 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home, New Bremen, and after 9:30 a.m. Friday at the church.
