* WHERE...Portions of Indiana, including the following counties, Dearborn, Fayette, Franklin, Ohio, Ripley, Switzerland, Union and Wayne, Kentucky, including the following counties, Boone, Bracken, Campbell, Carroll, Gallatin, Grant, Kenton, Lewis, Mason, Owen, Pendleton and Robertson, and Ohio, including the following counties, Adams, Auglaize, Brown, Butler, Champaign, Clark, Clermont, Clinton, Darke, Delaware, Fairfield, Fayette, Franklin, Greene, Hamilton, Hardin, Highland, Hocking, Licking, Logan, Madison, Mercer, Miami, Montgomery, Pickaway, Pike, Preble, Ross, Scioto, Shelby, Union and Warren.

Doris Gerber
Doris J. Gerber, 73, of Berne, Ind., died at 8:46 a.m. Jan. 10, 2007, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana, Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born Dec. 16, 1933, in Mercer County, to Otto and Freida Schaadt Fickert. On Oct. 3, 1953, she married Donald Gerber, who died Sept. 25, 2006.
Survivors are four daughters, Constance Morimanno and Carol A. (Randy) Bloemker, all of Fort Wayne, Cheryl (Ron) Dunning, Rockford, and Carla (Mark) Clary, Berne.; a brother, Roma Fickert, Rockford; and seven grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Raymond, Homer, Lloyd and Ralph Fickert; four sisters, Esther Nowak, Alvina Trasfer, Betty Carter and Lauretta Bollenbacher; and a granddaughter.
She was a homemaker and member of Lucky Sams Camping Club. She attended Parkway School and was a member of Jehovah's Witnesses Kingdom Hall, Decatur, Ind.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Downing & Glancy Funeral Home, Geneva, Ind., the Rev. Randy Melching officiating. Burial is at Mount Hope Cemetery, Berne.
Calling is 2-5 and 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
