Light snow will overspread the area from the northwest this morning. An increased coverage of snow showers is expected to develop this afternoon into the evening hours. Slick spots may develop on roads tonight as temperatures drop and northwest winds gust up to 30 mph. Coverage of snow showers is expected to decrease overnight before ending Monday morning. Most the area will see an accumulation of 1 to 2 inches. Locally higher amounts are possible in areas where heavier snow bands develop this afternoon into early evening.
Roadways may become slick. If traveling, be alert, slow down and allow extra time to reach your destination.

Evelyn Busse
Evelyn Louise Busse, 88, 17 East Park St., Fort Loramie, died at 6:05 a.m. May 1, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born Feb. 12, 1919, in Anna, to George and Maria Rosa Daniel Fleckenstein. On Sept. 13, 1938, she married Alvin Busse, who died Nov. 19, 1978.
Surviving are two sons, Thomas (Jan), Fort Loramie, and Michael (Paula), Lakewood, Colo; two daughters, Susan (Jack) Heyne, St. Marys, and Anne L., Fort Loramie; two brothers, Herbert (Rita) Fleckenstein, Fort Loramie, and Albert (Mary Jane) Fleckenstein, Burkettsville; a sister-in-law, Ethel Fleckenstein, Sidney; nine grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Deceased are three brothers, Edward, Henry and James Fleckenstein; and a sister-in-law, Patricia.
She retired as the co-owner and secretary of Busse's Meat Market in Fort Loramie. She was a member of St. Michael Catholic Church and its St. Anne Ladies Sodality; Knights of St. John Auxiliary Post 313; American Legion Auxiliary Post 355, having served as president; and the historical society, all of Fort Loramie; and Fraternal Order of the Eagle Post 1391, Minster. She also was the author of local history books.
Funeral Mass is 9:30 a.m. Saturday at the church, the Rev. Steven Shoup officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and 8:30-9 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Minster.
