Marjorie Keifer
Marjorie J. Keifer, 69, 402 W. Monroe St., New Bremen, died at 12:40 a.m. May 1, 2007, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys.
She was born May 8, 1938, in Botkins, to Victor and Loretta Prenger Huelskamp. After her mother died, she was raised by her father and stepmother, Rosella Vehorn Huelskamp. On Aug. 10, 1957, she married Gerald A. Keifer, who survives in Minster.
Also surviving are two sons, Bruce (Michele), Lakeview, and Randy (Melissa), New Knoxville; a daughter, Yvonne (Keith) Garman, New Bremen; three brothers, Jim (Rhonda) Huelskamp, Anna, and Dennis (Ann) Huelskamp and Dave (Edith) Huelskamp, all of Botkins; four sister, Betty Huelskamp and Jane (Jon) Uppenkamp, all of Botkins, Kathy (Fred) Sextro, Minster, and Lois (Norm) Howell, St. Marys; and four grandchildren.
Deceased is a brother, Kenneth Huelskamp.
She was homemaker, teacher at Serendipity Preschool for more than 34 years and member of the Church of Holy Redeemer and American Legion Auxiliary Post 241, all of New Bremen.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Friday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial will be at German Protestant Cemetery, New Bremen, at a later date.
There will be no calling.
Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home handled arrangements.
