E. Margaret Leugers
E. Margaret Leugers, 87, 200 E. Monroe St., New Bremen, died at 1:25 a.m. May 1, 2007, at Valley Nursing Home, St. Marys.
She was born Feb. 9, 1920, in Penick, Ky., to Leonard and Nance Head Brussell. On Oct. 18, 1941, she married Clemins Leugers, who is deceased.
Surviving are a son, Donald (Peg), New Bremen; a daughter, S. Roxann (Mike) Smith, New Bremen; three brothers, James Brussell and William (Dorothy) Brussell, all of Minster, and Herbert (Irene) Brussell, New Bremen; two sisters, Alma (Lloyd) Wolfe, Sidney, and Noami Bright, of Florida; and eight grandchildren.
She retired as a nurses aide from the St. Marys Living Center and was a member of the Church of the Holy Redeemer, New Bremen.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church, the Rev. Thomas Mannebach officiating. Burial is at St. Augustine Cemetery, Minster.
Calling is 9-10:30 a.m. Thursday at the church.
Gilberg-Hartwig Funeral Home handled arrangements.
