Roy Line
Roy A. Line, 75, of Mendon, died at noon Feb. 3, 2008, at the Laurels of Shane Hill, Rockford.
He was born May 1, 1932, in Auglaize County, to Dale and Opal Chiles Line. On June 24, 1956, he married Doris Ann Brown, who survives.
Other survivors are two sons, Dennis (Mindy) and Doyle (Lisa), all of Van Wert; a sister, Maxine Wright, St. Marys; and three grandchildren.
He worked at the former Elgin Grain Company. He was a U.S. Army veteran and a member of the American Legion, Rockford.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Ketcham-Ripley Funeral Home, Rockford, the Rev. Dean Bruce officiating. Burial is at Riverside Cemetery, Rockford.
Calling is 2-8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
