Scattered snow showers occurring across the region will gradually diminish early this morning. While any accumulation will be less than an inch, this will create slick roadways with a quick coating of snow. Not all roads will be affected, but motorists should be aware that driving conditions may change quickly along their route, going from dry to slick. If traveling this morning, use extra caution and allow for extra time to reach your destination.

Helen Minton
Helen M. Minton, 89, of Greenville, died at 10:45 a.m. Feb. 3, 2008, at the Oakley House in Greenville.
She was born in Darke County to Charles A. and Lora M. Brooks Minton.
Survivors are a nephew, Ron Breymier, Celina; two nieces, Pamela Cox and Linda Olbrycht; six great-nephews, four great-nieces and nine great-great nephews and nieces.
Deceased are two sisters, Frances Breymier and Mary E. Cox; and two nieces, Sue Livingston and Carol Thornhill.
She retired from American Aggregates in Greenville and was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Greenville.
Services are 2 p.m. Thursday at the Oliver-Floyd Funeral Home, Greenville, the Rev. Joe Payne officiating. Burial is at Greenville Cemetery.
Calling is 1-2 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
