Loretta Waggoner
Loretta Waggoner, 100, formerly of Rossburg, died at 11:30 p.m. Feb. 29, 2008, at the Versailles Health Care Center.
She was born June 14, 1907, in Darke County to John A. and Mary Santignon Subler. On Sept. 3, 1929, she married Samuel Glen Waggoner, who is deceased.
Survivors are two sons, John (Betty) Waggoner, New Weston and Jerry (Karen), Rossburg; three daughters, Mary Thomas, Kettering, Jean (LaVern) Stammen, Coldwater and Charlotte (Floyd) Griffith, Decatur, Ala.; 20 grandchildren, numerous great-grandchildren; and seven great-great grandchildren.
Deceased are four brothers, Cletus, Orville, Forest and Joseph Subler; three sisters, Ethel King, Thelma Getter and Florence Smith.
Funeral Mass is 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at St. Louis Catholic Church, North Star, the Rev. David Zink officiating. Burial is at the church cemetery.
Calling is 5-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Zecher-Bailey Funeral Home, Versailles, and 9:30-10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the church.
