Daniel Cogley
Former Celina resident, Daniel James Cogley, 77, of Findlay, died April 6, 2008, at his residence.
He was born March 14, 1931, in rural Rawson, to George and Ervena Timmons Cogley. In June, 1954, he married Marlene A. Businger, who is deceased. A companion, Rose Christman, also is deceased.
Survivors are two sons, Richard, Findlay, Keith A. (Mary), Becker, Minn.; a daughter, Amy (Martin) Kramer, Wixom, Mich.; a brother, Jacob L. (Doris), Findlay; three sisters, Martha Unruh and Ione "Susie" (Tom) Morrison, and Leah (Byron) Mehaffey, all of Findlay; eight grandchildren, a stepgrandchild and a great-grandson.
Deceased is a brother, David W. Cogley; and three sisters, Helen C. Cogley, Gemima Ann Cogley and Betty Shafer.
He retired from Ryder Truck Rental where he was a mechanic. He was a member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles, and a social member of the American Veterans "AMVETS", all in Findlay. He attended Rawson High School.
Calling will be 1-4 p.m. Friday at the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge, 1028 W. Main Cross St., Findlay.
