Light snow is expected to develop across the area after midnight, shifting to the southeast through the predawn hours. This band of light snow will affect the region by the Thursday morning commute, eventually pushing south of the area by mid- morning.
Minor snow accumulations of less than an inch are expected, but cold ground conditions will allow for quick accumulation on any untreated surfaces. The main impacts are expected to be reduced visibilities and some slick spots on untreated surfaces.
Motorists should exercise caution. Plan extra time for the Thursday morning commute.

Donna Herfurth
Donna Jane Herfurth, 86, of Spencerville, died at 6:45 a.m. April 8, 2008, at Joint Township District Memorial Hospital, St. Marys. She had been a resident of the St. Marys Living Center.
She was born May 19, 1921, in Pleasant Township, near Columbus Grove in Putnam County, to Jesse Leroy and Viola Pauline Wilkerson Gander. On Nov. 19, 1949, she married Jimmie D. Herfurth, who survives.
Other survivors are, two sons, Hal (Vi) , Kaneohe, Oahu, Hawaii, Rex (Kathy), Alger; a daughter, Wendy Fox, Cincinnati; a daughter-in-law, Cindy Herferth, Mendon; a brother, John I. Gander, Celina; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Deceased is a son, Kim Herfurth; an infant brother, William Tyler Gander; and a sister, Greta Inez Wilcox.
She was a homemaker and attended Lewistown Schools.
Services are 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, the Rev. Mary Kay Brown officiating. Burial is in the Willow Grove Cemetery near New Bremen.
Calling is 7-9 p.m Friday and after 9 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home.
