Two men, who were found guilty of passing bad checks at Wal-Mart as part of organized criminal activity, have been sentenced to prison following appearances in Mercer County Common Pleas Court.
Two area men have pleaded guilty to a total of 14 indictment charges involving vehicle break-ins earlier this year in Mercer, Auglaize and Allen counties.
The Celina softball team started Thursday's game with some fireworks and then had to wait five innings to slam the door on Marion Local.
Audrey Harner led off the game with a home run for Celina and the Bulldogs then added six runs in the sixth inning for a 7-0 triumph over the Flyers. [More]
It was perfect weather for Celina's final home track meet of the season, and the Bulldogs took advantage, beating Van Wert and Lima Central Catholic in both the boys and girls meets.
