Catherine Brandt
Catherine Leigh Brandt, 57, 5681 Brock-Cosmos Road, Versailles, died at 5:05 p.m. Oct. 13, 2008, as a result of an auto accident in Darke County.
She was born Dec. 25, 1950, in Celina, to Willard and Norma Jean Uncapher Stienecker. Her mother survives in Montezuma. Her father died Feb. 22, 2008. On Jan. 20, 1968, she married Michael Oliver "Sasssanelli" Brandt, who died Oct. 13, 2008.
Other survivors are three sons, Doug, Versailles, Dale (Sherry), Connersville, Ind., and Dean (Britney), Richmond, Ind.; three brothers, Ken (Debra) Stienecker, Coldwater, David and Michael (Lena) Stienecker, all of Celina; a sister Patti (Pat) Gariety, Celina; and two grandchildren.
She was a seamstress and worked at the Wooden Spoon, Greenville. She was a graduate of Celina High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, the Rev. Bruce Crane officiating. Burial is at Ellis Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday and Saturday after 9 a.m. at the funeral home.
Contributions can be made to an education fund for the grandchildren.
