Michael Brandt
Michael Oliver Brandt, 62, 5681 Brock-Cosmos Road, Versailles, died at 5:05 p.m. Oct. 13, 2008, as a result of an auto accident in Darke County.
He was born Jan. 20, 1946, in Sandusky. On Jan. 20, 1968, he married Catherine Leigh Stienecker, who also died Oct. 13, 2008 in the accident
Other survivors are three sons, Doug, Versailles, Dale (Sherry), Connersville, Ind., and Dean (Britney), Richmond, Ind.; a brother, Fred, Marysville; and two grandchildren.
He worked at the former New Idea Company, Coldwater, and was a member of the Loyal Order of the Moose and Fraternal Order of Eagles Lodges, Greenville. He was a graduate of Ansonia High School.
Services are 11 a.m. Saturday at Hogenkamp Funeral Home, Coldwater, the Rev. Bruce Crane officiating. Burial is at Ellis Cemetery, Celina.
Calling is 4-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home and after 9 a.m.
Contributions can be made to an education fund for the grandchildren.
