* IMPACTS...The cold wind chills as low as 15 below zero could result in hypothermia if precautions are not taken. Wind chill values can lead to hypothermia with prolonged exposure.

Esther Dalton
Esther Hoge Dalton, 102, 8911 Roanoke, Bremerton, Wash., died at 1:30 p.m. Aug. 21, 2009 at Harrison Hospital, Bremerton.
She was born Dec. 11, 1906, in New Knoxville to Herman H. and Mary Sophia Oelrich Hoge. On Sept. 28, 1944, she married Richard Dalton, who is deceased.
Surviving are a daughter, Dorothy K. Reincke, Bremerton; a sister, Ella Kuck, Sidney; and one grandchild.
Deceased are four brothers, Arthur H., Gust, Joel and Oliver Hoge; and five sisters, Laura Lageman, Rebecca Tschantz, Marcella Hoelscher, Bertha Rauser and Olga Hardwick.
She worked as a registered nurse and anesthesiologist. She was a member of the Dutch Reformed Church, New Knoxville, and the Methodist Church, Bremerton.
Graveside services are 1 p.m. Wednesday at Forest Lawn Cemetery, Bremerton.
